I have a 89 Force 125HP on a 19' Bayliner.

I just joined iboats and I have a question about the prop setup...

I have the thrust washer and the washer with a prop spline however I am missing the washer and prop nut that holds it all on. My question is do I have to order a "prop nut" or will a normal locking nut do the job?

Re: Prop Assembly/parts

You can use a stainless washer but should buy the regular nut/lockwasher.It's made of brass and won't corrode or seize to the shaft.
Their not that expensive.Any Merc dealer should be able to get them.Jerry
