Considering picking up a stainless prop - perhaps 4 blade?

Currently have an aluminum 13"x19 pitch on a 17' Starcraft bowrider - 125 Merc 2 stroke.

Full tank gas (Wife and I (300lbs between us)) - was able to get 41.5mph (gps) at 5100 rpms (max 4750-5250 stated by manual).

Primary use tubing, kneeboard and will attempt wakeboarding.

Stainless is pretty much overkill for a 125HP motor, you really won't gain any performance.

4 blade will give you a tiny bit better whole shot and drop your top speed/rpm a bit as well. But not a bad choice.

If you want more of a hole shot (not needed btw for tubing or kneeboarding) you can go to 17" pitch, but honestly what you have sounds pretty good.
