Re: Project Tandem Axle trailer finished

Thanks BK. I'm ready to get it finished off. I have a nice shiny Fulton winch that will be donated from the old trailer, a new matching spare will be mounted somewhere on the tongue, and I will be adding some Glastron logos, matching colored pinstriping, and finally some leftover carpet from the making of bunks will be put on the steps at either end of the fenders and maybe a piece of carpet on top of the fenders for a step pad. Don't want someone with sand on there shoes scuffing the paint job! :D :D :D

For some reason, looking at it in person makes the boat look completely different. On the old trailer, the boat had a very high profile. On this trailer, it sits down in the frame more (even though it is higher off the ground by 2"), so I guess it makes the boat look longer and "less tall". Hmmm.... I think I like!

It does look good and I don't blame you about the sand. :)
The tandem axel makes it look like a mans boat :D

The big red V8 decal on the outdrive already had that covered I think. :D
