I have a 2006 50 hp honda.At the end of last season the trim started acting up: slow or stuttering movement while trimming up, would not hold down when reversing. This year I decided to add fluid. After that all hell broke loose...Now although I hear the trim motor working while pushing either the up or down switch, the outboard will trim down under power (as I try to hold it up manually) but will not trim up. With the manual release valve closed or open I can move the outboard manually up or down, is this normal? Any ideas?
