Production years of Ocean Pro / Runners?

What were the production years of the Evinrude / Johnson Ocean Pro / Ocean Runners? What is the largest displacement they produced? I have a 225 that may be in need of replacement and would prefer to stay with this model, used or rebuilt, so I don't have to change cables, controls, guages etc.

1993 thru 2001, 200-225-250hp models with 3.0L blocks

I have a '98 Javelin boat catalog that shows them (on the boats) so they are least good thru '98 and at least 200 hp.

Be advised that Johson and Evinrude changed the main electrical harness connectors in 1996. They do make adapter kits for earlier and later motors so they will match up with the boat wiring.

1996 also had a change to the 4-lite warning system called SystemCheck.
