How do you recall and item because someone fails to think about where they place it???? It is a monitor and needs a cord to plug into the transmitting device. Maybe they better recall lamps, extension cords, and any electrical gadget that might find itself in a babies room!

Don't get me wrong, I feel for the parents that lost their children because of this. It is a terrible. But to recall a corded device because the cord was left in arms reach of the infant ... when do people take responsibility for their own actions?

Interesting list and reasons. I wonder how many of the items recalled because of "undeclared" ingredients are safe, except for persons allergic to that ingredient.

What parent would place a cord besides the crib? It's not a fault of the device, it's a fault of the parent.

We used similar monitors and the cord went behind the dresser with the monitor on top.
