I have a 2000 gtx sea doo bombadier that I have replaced the battery and it is clicking in the starter relay. I then replaced the starter relay and it is still clicking. Two years ago I had a new starter put on can you give any advise on what could be wrong?

New battery, starter relay and starter? The only thing left is the cables, fasteners and connections.

If you hear crackling or smell burning when cranking then the engine may be seized.

That's pretty harsh!

I'm with Ancloter; you need to check those cables and make sure that you've got a real clean battery cable connection. I had the same trouble with my 94 Yamaha Raider a week ago. Clicking and no starter cranking. Once I got a good, clean connection all was well.

There are normally TWO connections on the starter cylinoid. Make sure you put the switched 12 volt supply on the right side! If in doubt, remove it from teh one you have it n now and try the other side..It wont hurt anything if its done wrong.
