problems during WOT

Hey members... i have posted this issue before and didnt get any response but i will give it another shot. When i am running at WOT for about 5 to 10 minutes the engine will cut out to 1100 RPM and will not allow me to accelerate without completely stalling engine. Any ideas would be helpful. Engine is a 175 Black Max

Sounds like it is overheating and going into safety mode.

Yeah.. i have replaced the impeller at the begining of the season, and I am getting adequte water flow to the top of the powerhead, however it is not peeing out of the "tell tale" I can hold my finger over the hole and I can feel air coming out but not very much water
