problem with suzuki 30hp

i have a 1990 30 hp oil injected suzuki and it wont start with the pull start. the ignition key don't work yet cause we just bought it used from somebody and we need to fix the wires. you have to turn the key so the spark plugs will start the motor by pulling the pullstarter. well it don't start anymore. please help. it is a remote.

Sorry, Matthew, but I am confused by your post.<br /><br />Did you ever see this engine start?<br />Did you ever start it?<br />If yes, what have you done since then?<br /><br />If the answer to the first question is no, remove the spark plugs, hold them, one at a time against the block while you turn the engine over. Do they spark?<br /><br />Let us know.<br /><br />Standing by. . .<br />JB
