I have a 1990 force 150,my trim cyl cracked,I removed all lines at the pump & R/R the tilt/trim as a single unit, now reinstalling the lines on the pump (duh) i've noticed that there are 1 fitting hole on the bottom of the pump and 4 on the side(thought there was only 3 on the side) now I don't know where to position the lines, can some one please tell me the lines go and from where because as i said there is only 4 lines vs 5 holes. THANKS

Re: problem reinstalling tilt/trim

my Clymers manual is not specific on tnt units.<br />One picture shows 1 line out the bottom, and 3 lines out the side, but no details.

yes that is why when i removed them i didnt bother to notice that the pump has 1 hole on bottom and 4 on side, one must be not used on side?????

Re: problem reinstalling tilt/trim

well got to my local force guy today, this is for info if anybody else comes across same prob: as i said there are 4 holes on side of pump and 1 on bottom, well bottom line from tilt goes to bottom hole on pump, bottom line on ram goes to hole nearest you, top lines from tilt cyl & ram go to holes nearest transom doesn't matter which way. hope this helps somone else, knowledge is meant to be shared.
