Problem engaging forward

Hello everyone,<br /><br />I have a 1990 Suzuki DT 115.<br /><br />When I engage forward, it feels like the gears are not connecting properly. I looked in the owners manual and it looks from the book, there is a bad adjustment in the mechanism. <br /><br />Any thoughts on that, can it be also the forward gear that is broken ?<br /><br />Fred

If your linkage isn't adjusted properly, it certainly will cause gear engagement problems. Use your manual to set it up correctly, and that should cure your trouble.
