Hi all, thanks again for your help on my previous topics. This forum is the best.
Anyways, today another problem (maybe) came up. As you can see on the attached pictures, a piece on the primer solenoid is broken (that is how my father bought the motor 5 years ago) and also its wires were not connected. Can somebody tell me if the broken thing is a problem and second, why it was disconnected? Does it have something to do with the VRO? Important Info: I have tested the solenoid direct on the battery and it is working.

The primer solenoid cover/caps typically have two tiny hose barbs, both used to feed primer fuel into the top of the carbs. If one is broken, it sprays fuel inside the cowling, and worse, will slow the flow to the other barb and to the carb(s) that it feeds. Likely the choke is relatively useless in this form. Good news. You can purchase a replacement cover pc from any Bombardier dealer. Part number 341071. These small plastic barbs break easily during assembly, so be careful. I put a small amount of grease on the hose barb tip before I push the hose onto the barb. New hoses are usually more pliable than older (stiffer) hose, so you may want to invest a a few feet of replacement 1/16" primer hose. 772568. Your primer system has one plastic tee in this primer system-it is also a frail pc, so be careful of it also.

The primer is an electric valve.----It sprays fuel into the carburetor throat when cranking the motor to start.----Push key in while cranking the motor.

thanks for all the explanation but does anybody knows if there is a reason that it was disconnected? Can the motor keep working without it?

The engine will run just fine without the primer solenoid functioning. It's just that you will have a devil of a time trying to cold start it each day without that choke solenoid functioning as designed by the factory. That cap is about $10. Probably the first thing I'd fix on my engine.
