I have a 1985 Merc 115. Very clean and well taken care of. Normally this motor is a great runner. Normally it starts right up with one turn of the key and I only have to prime the bulb the first time I start it for the day. Last night I found that after shutting the motor off the primer bulb went soft and that caused the motor to not want to start normally. I had to engage the throttle to start it after priming the bulb both time I started it. After priming and starting it runs normally and has normal power. I read a few posts saying that it could be a float sticking open. Does this sound right?
As always I appreciate your time and knowledge.
