The fact that it's a Merc helps it's value considerably, but the price you get mostly depends on the condition. 1961 Mercs are somewhat collectable, but I wouldn't expect to get rich on it... If it's near mint condition, I'd be willing to bet you could get $500 - $700 for it. If you are considering selling...you might want to try Ebay or something similar... I've seen a lot of nice Mercs in there selling for a decent price... <br /><br />Good luck...Oh, by the way...you wouldn't by any chance be interested in a 1974 Merc 4 hp model 40 with a serious attitude problem, would ya?<br /><br />Walt
