price of 1995swift

[1995swift]

I am thinking of buying a 1995 swift bass boat made by wilson. It has a 1995 225 mercury and the boat its self is in really good shape except the seats need redone. The ecm needds replaced on the motor but that is the only problem.I have been on the boat prior to the engine stopping... I can not find the boaat any website to see what prices for and wanted to know if anyone has any knowledge of a price for the boat?

Google a little harder, bro Swift is the manufacturer - Wilson was the designer. He used to be at Ranger. Sounds like Swift didn't last too long, but their website is still floating out there: http://swiftboats.com/

Do some searches against other bass boats of the same vintage and that'll give you an idea of what this one might be worth. When you get into used boats, especially when they're 17 years old - who built 'em doesn't mean much. It's more about how they were kept. Where you're located will matter too. When I Googled the boat, I found one in MO ('93 model @ 20') for about $6,700.

That sounds scarey. Kinda like one of those "just needs a starter" type deals (as in just needs a starter so you can find out it doesn't run at all). Do a compression test on it at minimum.
