I bought a pair of tall boy 1949 Johnson gas tanks that are pressurized. When I prime them to get fuel to my outboard, fuel comes out of the primer knob all over my hand. I took one apart and discovered the rubbers are cracked but still work, I decided to put an o-ring in the priming shaft and it slowed the fuel from coming out, but it still gets all over my hands. How can I correct this? Can I get new rubber kits to replace the cracked rubbers? Did they make an Evinrude version of these tall boy Johnson tanks?
