Anyone know why a pressure washer will not pull the soap out of the container. Worked last time I used it but now will not.
Last time it was at the MIL's cabin with well water.
This time it was at home.

Differences I can find-
*pressure between well water pump and city water
*added 25' of pressure hose.

Dont know why either would make a difference.

Re: Pressure washer - no soap

if the pickup tube is clogged, even the slightest amount, you won't get the inducter to work. Soap residue or a piece of grit, or hardwater deposit. Take the inductor tube and flush it, clean it, or disassemble it and clean it.

We have this happen with foam inductors for fire apparatus,.... NEVER store them with soap in them. When done using inductor, fill the soap bucket (after cleaning it) with fresh water and let it pickup fresh water through the inductor for a few minutes.

I pulled the soap unit apart and could not visually find anything wrong. I applied a small amount of vacuum to the pick up tube (by mouth) and the soap flowed easily. When I put my finger over the detergent injector I could not feel any vacuum. I have tried pulling the nozzle and twisting it back and forth but no soap.
