Pre-Alpha Trim Flush

So I have to replace my leaking trim hose that goes from the housing to the ram. The previous owner has no idea what fluid was used in there last so I want to do it right and flush the old fluid out and put new clean fresh fluid in the system. The book is very vague on how to do this properly.

Does anyone have a PDF or a write up describing how to do this correctly ?

Ayuh,... What Color oil are ya seein',..?? Red, or Brown,..??

While the lines are off,....
Run the pump, both ways while keepin' the tank near full...
Lift, 'n drop the drive to pump the contaminated oil out of the cylinders....
Have a bucket to catch the waste...
