HI guys I am new here so I am not sure where to place my question so I will leave it up to you to let me know if this is the best place or maybe you can direct me to a better location.

I am looking for some help to find a power trim unit for my 1986 mercury 50 hp 4 cil outboard motor. If you know where I can find a good used unit I would be greatful for the help

Thanks
Bob

Re: Power trim question

Try tcoutboard.com. :)

That used the old twin hydraulic cylinders with the pump in the boat. I'm not sure the cylinders are the same, but they used that system from 50Hp on up thru 1987.

Re: Power trim question

Go to http://www.salvagemarine.com/ and contact Alec. This place is local to me, but he will ship anywhere. He sold a friend of mine a trim unit and shipped it to Nashville for much less than my buddy could find it locally.
