Power Trim Prestolite ya-5012

I purchased a 1977 Ranger bass boat with a 1988 40hp Evinrude on it to use as a duck hunting boat.

The previous owner took off the Prestolite ya-5012 power trim because he said it was "slow". I got all the parts for it, switch and wiring were still in the boat. Wired it in, and I have nothing. There is power to the plug, but the trim does nothing.

I was looking to replace the unit, but wasn't finding much online for a replacement???

Can I buy an entire replacement unit?
Can I buy a replacement motor?
Do I have to find an electrical shop to rebuilt my current motor?

Have your t/t mtr checked out first to see if it's okay. I got a chuckle out of your name. The last dog I had which was a good one was also named that.
