Power trim for 77 Johnson 85hp

I have a 1977 Johnson 85hp outboard. Will the old style trim/tilt that has the cylinders on the outside of the motor work?<br /><br />Thank you, AL

What kind of steering set up do you have?

It is custom made. But could you or anyone else tell me if the power trim unit I described will work? Thanks for your help. AL
