I broke my pump cylinder on a huge stump. Trying to find a used assembly on ebay. I'm wondering if the optimax and 4 stroke 115's will fit without modification. Thx Mike

Posting a picture might help.If you have a 2 wire 3 ram Mercury tilt and trim unit and you see similar with oil/fluid refill in same location,I would say it will fit.I have a 3 ram off a 60/65 HP that fits straight on my V6.I would double check with dimensions as I did.

you need a new system. if you whacked a stump hard enough to split the ram then the only thing left to be trusted is the electric motor. Being a 1995, the motor is probably not all that great anyway. They don't make 3w motors any more so you'll need a 2w relay harness.

something like this http://www.ebay.com/itm/330747323161
Any 65-120HP single ram mercury, mariner, or force 1987-2010 will fit your engine. However, anything over 12 years may not work or last for long and avoid saltwater parts like the plague.

You can also buy just an empty ram housing for $300 from mercury ... but then what? you stilol have a laundry list of supporting parts. You're better off buying a whole, working used system.

Will this one work? It's from a 4 stroke. 2000 model. It's looks very close if not the same. I do have a single cylinder.

Ok. I got my power trim in from eBay. Can someone tell me where I can get a 2 wire to 3 wire conversion kit for cheaper than 70 bucks. The new power trim has 2 wires and my old one had 3 wires. Thanks. Mike

They are some used ones sold on Ebay, and thry are thr relay ones and wire diffrent than the old seilonid units that had 3 wires, so you will have to rewire for the new style relays. Buy, beg, barrow, or steal a manual for the motor, as most have the wireing diagrams for both systems in them. Then you'll have a better knowlage as what you need to do.

db electric has them for $30. You can pull the 50A ATC fuse and replace it with a 30A self resetting circuit breaker. costs a few bucks more, but its a better deployment. as regards install - it is incredibly simple thing to do. pull out solenoids and drop in relays. use solenoid mounting screws to hold down relays. plug switch and motor in same way as before. no common ground on 2w. make absolutely positively sure to install the ground strap to anode or you will eat your system up in just a few years. if you can't find what you need on iboats, ebay, or amazon then pm me. I have about 80 of these things on hand.
