Hi, I have a 2012 Mecury 25hp with power tilt and trim. The power tilt works fine, motor tilts up and stays up (no leak down) when motor is at low speed or stopped. However, when trimming the motor at high speeds, the motor goes up but gradually settles back down to zero trim, stopping at the trim pin. Either a bad seal or just needs fluid topped off. If fluid is low, of course, it raises the question of why (leak somewhere?) but I would like to just try checking and adding fluid for starters. Anyone know if the fluid can be topped off on these units? I can't find a filler screw anywhere.
