I am attempting to determine if my trim motor is bad.The strategy I have is to pull and jump the main green and blue wires directly from the trim motor and go to a separate battery source[going to the positive terminal] leaving all other wires in place.Would that be a viable way of testing the trim motor-I am assuming that since all other wires are connected everything is grounded and that connecting the blue or green main trim motor wires directly to a separate battery source, should energize the trim motor.I am also assuming that since I am bypassing the relay I don't have to use the trim button to get results.Regards Andy
