Power Tilt/Trim - 1997 Force 120

Hello,
My motor is currently in outdoor storage and tilted in fully vertical position. Without the battery, will the Tilt/Trim system hold the position? What might happen if the battery is taken out or running out of charges? Many thanks - Anthony

block the engine up with 2x4 or something and take the pressure off your tilt system. it will last longer.

I hope I don't hi-jack this thread but this seems to be a great place to ask this since I have the same engine... Are there any other negatives to storing a boat with the engine tilted?
