I have a new etec 90 25" shaft with less than 50 hrs. If I raise the motor full tilt, without the lock on, it will be half down by morning and fully down the next.
Is this normal, my old johnson didn't do that.
Also, the manual says to never lock it in the up position when trailering. I am concerned to do that for any lengthy trip considering how fast it falls with no jarring at all. At full down, I have only about 4" ground clearance.
