hello all, i have a mercruier 1981 165 250cc i/o with manual streeing my question is can i add power streeing to my boat? if i can what componets will i need?

You probably could, but it would be a job to do. Trying to find all the pump brackets, pumps, hoses, coolers, and the PS cylinder and hook up parts for the transome should would be VERY hard to do for that engine.
You would get the same results by installing a hydraulic steering system, and probably a lot cheaper and less work.
