I am installing a 5.7Litre Volvo GL and I see it came with a Power steering pump cooler. This engine did not come with FWCooling , so I have used my old Heat exchanger . The small cooler that cools the PowerSteering Pump is cooled from the intake hose from the leg. Which means now it will be salt water cooled. Is this cooler designed for salt water or can I disconnect it all together?Is this cooler necessary? It would be quite a joke extending the lines and tapping into the FWC system
