On my 3.0 OMC 1986 cobra, I need to remove the pulley on my power steering pump to put back the ajustment screw(s) under the pulley that came loose and fell. Is this pulley taken off with a puller or is it srewed on? (I see an allen key hole in the center of the shaft.)

There is a puller that removes the pulley and another that pushes it back on.
If the screw fell out, you can put it back in without removing the pulley.

Thanks. I must have fat fingers because I tried for about 10 minutes and couldn't do it. :(

cobra
its doable
its not easy but its doable.
the puller kit is about 50 dollars at napa. its a universal kit that doeas many pumps for GM,chysler and ford.
but its common and it is possible to reinstall that bolt with the pulley in place if you can grab it.
