ok i took out my boat today in the saco and it all went pretty well, except when i go full throttle it goes but than a second later it dies a little, not much but enough to make a difference. i thought maybe i had a leak in my gas line so i looked at it while at full throttle and it looks fine, any ideas? (1975 50hp)
thanks in advance
~erk

Re: power problem

boatin 'bunker Did you try and pump the ball when you lose power it could be that check valve sticking or failing. The easist fix to try is a new fuel line and this would give you a back up one if it is't the problem, you should have an extra one and there so cheap! The next would be the fuel pump it could have a small hole that is not big enough yet to give you real fits. If it gets worse the next few times you run I'll bet its the fuel pump.
steve
