power pack testing

I have a 1977 Evinrude 85hp outboard that is missing several components (starter, flywheeel, etc). Someone wants my power pack, but I wanted to test it (separate from the motor)for them first to make sure it works. Please give me instructions and equipment necessary. Thanks,<br />Nate

I am not aware of any bench test for that component.

I just recently asked OBJ the same question. He told me the same thing, that the powerpack itself can't be tested.
