Power Outlet stopped working

I have a '16 Four Winns H190 and the power outlet stopped working. We were filling a tube and the air pump got jerked and pulled the plug out of the socket. The plug came apart and left pieces in the socket. We were able to get it all cleaned out and rebuild the plug but when we plugged everything back in there isn't' any power to the plug now.

For the life of me I can't find a fuse panel. There are a couple of in line fuses below the dash (5 and 25 amp) but they are right in a wire, and the outlet is in the glove box.

Does anyone know where the fuses are? I have downloaded the manuals from Four Winns but honestly they seem *really* vague; covering the entire H series and none of the figures seem to match what my boat (An SS) has.

Or could having the plug pulled out wreck the outlet?

Almost every boat has a fuse panel. They are usually under the dashboard.

I presume your boat has lights and a bilge pump? Trace one of those wires back from the lights and see where it goes after it passes thru the switch.

Some boats have circuit breakers directly above the switches. These can usually be reset.

either fuses or a circuit breaker unless the power outlet was added by the prior owner, then who knows

I would buy a new power outlet. If your old one came apart that easily it will probably happen again. Besides, they're cheep. Like previously mentioned look under the dash for the fuse panels.

Mine is up under the dash, it might have an inline fuse on the back of the power outlet as well. Or if you have trolling motor it might be on the back of the boat on the transom area.
