Posts sometimes don't post

After spending about 15mins writing a reply to a post, I got an error message regarding the page refreshed after I logged in or something. Should have saved the error message. The first time I ran into this issue, anyone else have this problem? I also had to rewrite the whole post :facepalm: lol

I've had that happen to me a few times. I don't know if it was my own fault or a glitch in the programming of the forum. If you don't check the "remember me" option right under the password box, when you write a long post, you'll have to sign in again. That's how I lost one very long reply. Never got an error message regarding a page refreshed. Havn't had the problem in a while, though, so I'm thinking it was probably something I did or didn't do. I've gotten into the habit of copying a long post into clipboard before I hit the submit button. There's a mess of "internet highway" between you and Iboats. If anything can go wrong, it will.

If you are one of those that has to log in each time you come to the forums, that could be your problem. The software will automatically log you off after 15 minutes if you do not change pages or screens to show you are active. Then when you hit the submit reply button you are no longer logged in.
As stated, doing a copy of your reply will save it if you spend over 15 minutes writing it.

Don's right, if you're one of those long-winded people that likes to jabber away at the keyboard for a long time you're going to have to make sure that you copy and paste the text as you will lose it. Believe me, I lost a lot of text in my day, a lot of time spent and it's all going into the cyber world of Neverland.
