So, what's your secret lure?

You should be careful holding big fish like that so far away from your body... you could lose your balance and fall forward and hurt yourself.

Secret lure is a night crawler Haha. And Ur a funny guy. First one is 38 second was 56 lbs. Look up state river striper record. I have stores wanting to buy it for a thousand dollars and make me am exact mold. Maybe Ur right I should be careful

They called me. They want it to make models for all there stores. Believe me I was shocked when the guy at the shop called telling me about it. The guy I took it to to stuff told some people. Crazy I know. That's a nice fish. I'll post more tomorrow

I like to use hair razor from time to time. Favorite here is the pencil popper. Nothing beats a big 40 pounder grabbing that popper across a riffle.

just curious: how did that come about? did you go around to the stores showing them pictures of it? take the mount in with you while you were buying your jigs? i'm kidding here, but i am curious to see how they found out and became interested...

That's a nice fish! Ya we don't do that here in the California rivers. I got a 14ft with a 15hp motor and u gotta know the river well because it is shallow. And ya the guy i gave it to has connections so I just got a call.

Wow great pics guys! Keep them coming. I've been chasing freshwater stripers for the last month or so and it's been a blast. The secret bait in the desert is frozen anchovies...not a secret at all.
