In the first post season start of his 11 yr. career, Roy Halladay of the Philles, throws the second no hitter in post season history v/s the Reds. His second of the year. The last post season no hitter was by Don Larsen of the Yankees in 1956, a perfect game. Roy was only one walk from a perfect game.

My world series pick for this year: same two teams as last year, except this year the Philles go all the way. (I'm rooting for the Reds and Twins though).

Somebody please knock off the Yankees and the Phillies, PLEASE!

The last few years it's all about them in the post season: at the water cooler, on the TV, on the radio, in the paper...

Ironically, now that I can enjoy the World Series, my cable carrier "Cablevision" is in a dispute with News Corp. (Fox TV) and pulled fox broadcasts from my cable lineup. No Giants Football and no World Series. Rigging an antenna this afternoon to try and get Fox over the "air". Transmitter is on the Empire State Building 40 miles away. Gonna need some extra tin foil!!!!
