First. Thanks to all of the people have contributed to this moment. My thread history tells a story and I followed all advice and I am past a rebuild of carbs, Powerhead, and so many other things.

I'm facing break in plus post rebuild stuff. Performed link and sync, running 25:1 mix, and my question is about post break in.

When I'm done with 25:1, and past break in period, should I be doing some round of tunings or anything? I know I'll need to tighten heads, and possibly replace soak plugs.

Anything I should be looking out for after break in, or should I just be looking out for scoring some flatties in the ocean? Not seeing to much post break in call outs, so expecting just proceed as normal.

Seriously thank you all again. I followed everyone's advice with no concession. I followed the manuals to a T and it amazingly came together. Plus I replaced a rusted tiller and hope to give a steering arm replacement write up.

nothing to do but torque the heads. FYI after 10 gallons of gas at most, those rings are bedded in more than they ever will be. I hope you are really getting into the throttle to help seal them aka no extended idle periods and gentle throttle applications. i do run my v4 crossflows with 24 degrees of high speed timing after a rebuild, then increase to 26 -28 whatever it likes best. not really necessary though if you run premium fuel.

Ya I'm only ten minutes in aka just completed idle period. I just didn't know if my timing is skewed bc of the heavy oil mix and needing reset when beginning running on less oil.
