You beat me to it BoatBoy.<br />Mines a 1956 Vagabond II/ with a 63 40 evinrude.<br />I've still got the original 1956 30 Johnson. Its hanging on a F/G boat.

Mine's a II also. When I first got it, it had a '57 Johnson Golden Javelin on it. In 1977 I replaced the Javelin with a new Evinrude. Man, I wish I had that Javelin back.<br /><br />About a month ago, I got a '56 30hp Javelin that I'm preping to put on the boat in the spring. Mechanically it's pretty good, but it needs a paint job. I'm currently resealing the lower unit and new w/pump. Good spark. Carb needs rebuilt.<br /><br />I knew you had one. I've seen your occasional post on www.feathercraft.net.

I've got a 1949 Deluxe Runabout. It's in very sad shape. I honestly don't know what I'll ever do with it, but I just love it. Most people would say recycle it I'm sure.<br />I would sure love to find a Vagabond like you guys have.

61 Ski-Bo with a 1977 55 hp johnson. my first boat. I belong to AOMCI and the Florida chapter. The sierial # is weard though (FK289TGBY) dosn't look like anything i have ever seen on the Feathercraft sites. I think it was the last year for this model.
