You're close to the mark with the thought about recalibrating the radar. The car is turbo-diesel and heavily chipped. It was used for getting to medical emergencies although it doesn't have badges and signs on it. It did have kojak lights etc. When the cop saw it he recognised it and let me pass........the Jaguar I was racing with wasn't so lucky

The first time I ever drove a car it was a Lada-and was in a banger race....and I rolled it 5 times...<br /><br />You have NO IDEA how hard it is to scratch your nether regions violently in front of your boss and keep a straight face...

I'm guessing the term "heavily chipped" means that it was somewhat enhanced in its performance?

Im new here so most likely nobody knows any facts about me anyway...I just turned 50, my girl friend just turned 30 a few months ago, I am a network administrator and drive a corvette (you knew that was coming right? lol). But before you start with the midlife crisis stuff Ive been a single parent for over 15 years and have 3 sons 18, 21 and 23 Ive raised and I get along pretty well with the ex now too. Ive "lived" online at conservative discussion forums the last few years and been a moderator at a few so Im rather opinionated. I was actually checking pricing on boats when I happened to run across this forum. Purely accidental but Im very glad it happened as I really like the place so far. There you go...much more than you ever really wanted to know about me. Oh and Im glad to meet all of you.
