Possible Rebuild Project

Just want some opinions. Im looking at making an offer on this boat for a long term project. Also, how difficult would it be to install a rebuit engine? I have some mechanical skills and my Dad is really good with engines (He has rebuilt 2 motorcycles over the past few years)

Might be a good project. Wouldn't pay much, if anything, for it though.

It would probably cost the owner $1000 to get rid of her. I just picked up a 1974 23 sportfish, running, on trailer for far less than that. She looks like a nice "Aqua Camper" to me. A good boat to spend the night on. If this is what you really want I would offer to haul her away for nothing. If not, drive around your boating area looking for boats with the grass growing around her.
