This boat has been sitting for about 2-3 years. I actually got it out of the dumps:)
It has a rebuilt engine it looks like. I purchased a brand new starter (made in japan!) from www.newstarteralternater.com The old one was shot. I can get to to run for a min by pouring some gas down the carbs. But I can't seem to get any fuel from the tank. It has a primer on the fuel pump but still cant get any fuel into the line. I am thinking about using a siringe and pushing fuel from the tank line into the fuel filter and beyond?

Any other ideas?

Thanks, Scott!:)

sounds like the pickup tube in the fuel tank or the anti-siphon valve could be clogged.

If you take the feed line off the pump and pump the prime lever do you feel vacuum at the inlet port?. If not either a stuck check valve or blown diaphragm.

If your pump has screws on the top cover the diaphragm can be replaced, the kit is not cheap but it beats $300 for a new pump.
