Possible dumb newbie question

I have a 2007 Nissan 30 hp 4 stroke fuel injected outboard motor. It is freezing outside and I will e moving boat out of garage to work on truck. Do I need to winterize motor?

Just be sure to leave the motor down to be certain there is no water trapped in the lower end.
