I was just wondering what could be causing the motor to pop and spit at low rpms only in idle position. When i manually bring the rpms up with the throttle linkage it starts spitting and popping. If the motor is trimmed up out of the water and i crank it it's like a back fire. When i take the boat out under load it runs flawless low rpm and high rpms. Do you think it's a fuel issue with the carbs which i just rebuilt about a month go along with the fuel pumps or is it related to the one head i have that's overheating causing it to maybe run lean any help would be great thanks.
