Poppet Valve

Hi

I read in a couple of threads when they refer to the poppet valve, what is it function and will a Yamaha 130 have one? if so where is it located?

relies pressure at higher rpms

ur 130 should have one
look it up on yami's site under cylinder crankcase

Most models it is located at the rear near the bottom of the powerhead. It will have a large hose attached.

It can get clogged and not seal properly resuting in low water pressure.
