Well I installed a new poppet valve yesterday and on start up observed water coming from vent hole, motor WAS peeing. Took poppet back out and had to tighten the screw into the diaphram more. Re install and start motor, problem fixed, no leak out of vent hole on poppet cover, motor WAS peeing great. 10 minutes later I re start motor, I get about 10 yards from my slip I lookand the motor is not peeing WTF. Quick turn around and head back t slip just as the overheat alarm is going off. Man I'm so fing frustrated???????????? Could the impellar have gone bad just like that? Don't think its the poppet,that should only come into play at higher rpms. Im stumped.
