poor acceleration 70 hp evinrude

My engine idles fine most of the time, but occaionally cuts out. And recently has become very sluggish getting on plane, but once planed out runs fine. I also fouled a plug recently which has never happened before. I'm thinking carbs or fuel pump. What do you think?

Got exactly same thing going with my 70. When I pour the gass to it, it is slugish or dies. Runs better when cold. <br />Just had a powerpack put on, planing to take it back and have it checked. Let me know if you come up with something. I will respond on this strand if I find out whats going on with mine.

Have you checked your fuel filter lately?

Yes replaced some cracked gas lines. Seems to be flooding smells like it when you first start it up. When accelerating it bogs down,pushed choke thinking if it was starving for gas it would pick up and run died out and started like it was flooded.
