I just bought a used 28ft. pontoon boat in Ohio and need to move it to my house in Maryland. I want to rent a trailer but I can't find any place (marina's, trailer dealers) that rent boat trailers. Any one know where I can rent a pontoon boat trailer in either NE Ohio or Maryland?
I don't really want to buy a trailer because I don't have much room to store it and since my boat will be in the water at my dock year round I will rarely if ever need to use it.(in part because of having a boat lift)

thanks, for any suggestion
Sean 301 227-3363

You may try contacting an auto tow truck for delivery...the flatbed type with tilting bed. Some have beds near 28'. An extended fork lift may be able to load and unload it. Roofing companies have small cranes that can be hired to do lifting cheaper than regular crane companies. If the boat has a hard top the height may be too high. My local auto tower charges me $2 a mile for hauling short distances like this up to 20,000lbs weight.
