Re: Polyethylene trailers

No prices on the site... is this a bad sign? Apart from that, the concept looks great, it's a pain to have to continually wash and protect my galvanised trailer so the poly one would be a good bet come replacement time if it's affordable. What's the average life expectancy of a gal trailer used in salt water for 100 launches - retrievals a year? Ten years? 15?

What are the implications of UV to the Poly?

Is regular poly as resistant to UV as HDPE?

I'd hate to see it get brittle in 10-15 years.

I need one of those for my plastic Logic boat.

nd3mge most plastics can have UV stabilizers added for outdoor use.
