Hi I have a 1944 johnson polr 15. 22 hp military motor brand new in crate never ran. I've had it for 15 years. I'm kicking around the idea of uncrating it and getting it to run. The throttle cable is broken where it attaches to the carb. Anyone have an idea where I can get a new or used cable?. Do you all think I'm crazy for trying to Start this up or should I just keep it as it is ( shipping tape is still over exhaust port) this motor has decompression valve and looks like a real beast.is there a Market for this if I just decide to sell it? Thanks
