Well a code showed up yesterday on my dash which honestly I never thought of but thinking back and putting all my issues together is logical .I have a pooched voltage regulator!Apparently its a fairly common issue with some Polaris machines .Well good old Polaris wants 293 cnd for this diamond studded rare bird (it must be).So off I went on a search and presto ,Amazon.com has several aftermarket ones for the princely sum of 53 cnd.Heck for 8 bucks extra you can get a 2 year extra warranty.
