Im looking at a Polar Kraft BASS AMERICA MV160 SS with a 40hp Yamaha. A guy bought it two weeks ago and has burned a total of 3 gallons in it. He will sell to me for $9000. This included to batts, new trolling motor and fish finder. he paid $10500 plus tax. I know this is a good deal but I don't have any experience with this boat. Does anyone have this boat and if so, what do you like and dislike about it.

http://www.polarkraft.com/index_tem...&mainpage=godfrey_showroom&brand=bassamerica#

Thanks,
Chris

Re: Polar Kraft

I hate the "stick" steering... right is not right... left is not left... Your mind wants you to turn the wheel... Other than that, I wouldn't have any problem owning one.

Godfrey has been building boats a long time, they know what they're doing.

Re: Polar Kraft

Chris, I have the TC 178 and have been very pleased with the boat and the company. I had some warrenty work done with no problems. I feel that I got alot of boat for my money with the Polar Kraft. If the price is right you can't go wrong.
